As of October 1, 2006 - The State of NJ has imposed a 7% sales tax on Massage Therapy services. This tax DOES NOT APPLY if you can provide a Doctor's note / prescription for Massage Therapy. The Doctor's note must be provided to the therapist at the time of your massage.
